ASUS has introduced a new tablet for the international market: the ZenPad 3s 10 LTE(Z500KL). There is another device of the brand with the same name, which was presented last year with different model number, but it had a lot less interesting hardware than this new option. The biggest early highlights are the compact design of the device, which has a metal finish and very thin edges on the sides of the screen.
Speaking on screen, although the device name suggests 10 ”, the model actually has a 9.7 “display and 2K resolution(1536×2048). ASUS has also embarked on a number of technologies to make the screen more pleasing to the eye, including a system that offers a much deeper contrast. Check out the other specifications we have on the hardware:
- Processor: Snapdragon 650 hex-core 1.8 GHz
- RAM: 4 GB
- GPU: Adreno 510
- Storage: 32 GB native
- Cameras: 8 MP rear and 5 MP front
- Connectivity: WiFi and LTE(4G)
- OS: Android Marshmallow 6.0
- Dimensions: 242.3 x 164.2 x 6.75 mm
- Weight: 490 g
- Battery: 7,900 mAh
It is worth noting that the brand estimates that the ZenPad 3s 10 LTE can run continuously and under heavy use for 16 hours with a full battery charge. On hold, the estimate is 150 hours. The tablet even comes with a stylus stylus called Z Stylus that can work with 1024 pressure levels and for 150 hours of continuous use on an internal battery charge.
For the time being, the model is sold only in Malaysia for MYR $ 1,799, which represents basically R $ 1,284 in direct conversion, disregarding any tax. Unfortunately, we do not know details about the distribution of this ZenPad in other markets, which includes Brazil.
